I'm Walking to Fight Arthritis!

In the Fall of 2002 I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I can still hear the Nurse telling me my test came back positive for RA. My heart sank to the ground. My first thought was, I wish my Mom were here so I could talk to her about it, but she wasn't. My Mom died 3 year's prior. Yes, from Rheumatoid Arthritis. She was only 60 years old, and had dealt with RA since she was about 36 years old. At the young age of 45, she had to move into a Nursing Home, where they could help her cope with every day life.
She never walked again!

I would like to dedicate this walk to my Mother "Charlene".

With everyones support and effort we can try to beat this crippling disease and find a cure.
Please join me in this walk for "Loving Charlene" join our team, lets make this the walk that helps our children and our grand children.
